Martha’s Vineyard part 2

Hey guys! I am still enjoying this lovely week on Martha’s Vineyard with Brita and Darcy (and Frida). Excited to be joined by Melissa, Amy, Marieke, and Maggie tomorrow! Next week I will return to my regularly scheduled blogging so thank you for indulging me.

Yesterday we were up bright and early and, after grabbing provisions from 7a Foods at Alley’s, we spent the entire day at the beach. Perhaps the best part of going to the beach in Chilmark is taking the boat across the pond…….

After soaking up all the rays we headed to Menemsha, set up camp on the beach, and trekked to Larsen’s to grab lobster rolls, chowder, and oysters. Totally worth the effort, the sunset was amazing and the perfect way to end the day.

In preparation of the girls coming in tomorrow, we planned a feast to celebrate their arrival. This morning we visited the Morning Glory Farm to gather fresher than fresh fruits and veggies grown locally. And who knew, one of my favorite cook booked called “Raising the Salad Bar” (thanks, Leah!!) comes from these parts. Go buy it if you haven’t already

Some photos from yesterday and today’s adventures.
