Save the date!

AP and I are in the throes of wedding planning, and of course I have become totally giddy over all the fabulous save-the-date options. I just ordered our save-the-date design from Printable Press, and anxious to see the proof. These days, it’s so easy and super affordable to make your own wedding stationery with all the DIY and template options floating through the stationery universe.

I have been toying with the idea of doing a kraft paper or dark-colored envelope with a white return address stamp. The only problem is that white ink doesn’t show up well without using a lettepress or engraving printing technique. Problem solved – embossing! Thanks to Antiquaria for their fabulous custom stamps and regular DIY Tutorial guest spot on Oh So Beautiful Paper. Most recently, a post on embossing envelopes!
