Have you seen this yet?! This is brilliant! Former finance guy Brandon Stanton quit his day job to commit to a multi-year project of photographing the faces of New York City with the end goal of creating an interactive map of New York City – displaying all the neighborhoods of NYC through the faces of the people who live in them. So freaking cool! Check out his site here and some of his portraits below. So far, Brandon has taken over 1,700 portraits and will continue his journey as an urban anthropologist, of sorts, until he has 10,000. I salute you, Brandon. It’s hard to truly capture the randomness and diversity of New York that makes it such a special place!
